Having reviewed a lot of the Endura products, we wanted to delve deeper to explore just what was behind the brand. It’s no secret that we absolutely love everything we’ve tried from the brand. The Scottish based company have been producing apparel at the top of both the road and mountain bike game for many years. Express your wild side with the a mixture of new designs. Available as a jersey, shorts, socks and a cap, Endura have brought out a Psychotropical range for both men and women. With three separate designs, Maze, Scatter and Wave, there’s something for everyone!
The design of the new gear has been primarily driven by function, with aesthetics also playing a part. As always, Endura have kept the performance of the gear at the forefront of engineering in these limited edition products!
Jersey:
This high-performance cycling jersey uses rapid wicking Italian fabrics to ensure you remain sweat-free and comfortable when the heat is on and with its distinctive print design, it’s sure to catch the eye of the local peloton.
— HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR CYCLING BASE ENDURANCE —
It’s close race fit hugs the body but comes with plenty of stretch for you to move around. There’s plenty of mobility in the kit without the quality being compromised. Sleeves to the elbow improve aerodynamics as developed in the wind tunnel. A internal elastic hem keeps the jersey securely in place while you’re out on the road.
Similar to the 2017 and 2018 versions of the jerseys, the psychotropical gear comes with three rear pockets, plus a mesh gel pocket. There is plenty of space to hold your valuables, nutrition and any extra layers you might be carrying with you.
Shorts:
With plenty of features rolling across from the other market leading Endura gear, the Psychotropical shorts are some of the best shorts we’ve tried. Created using high quality Italian lycra fabric, they follow the jerseys in their race style fit. A pre-curved design offers the shorts another level of flexibility and comfort when you’re in the saddle. They don’t move around much at all, giving them a very secure fit. Superfine silicone grippers ensure the legs stay exactly where you need them when you’re delivering the power.
— WHY YOU NEED A NEW BIKE FIT —
A front mesh panel improves air circulation and aids in the anatomical 3D shape. Similarly to other bib shorts from Endura, the upper mesh keeps you aired and dry even at high intensities. Very breathable fast wicking mixed with the high quality lower part of the shorts and a 600 series chamois pad. The pad is incredibly comfortable and one of the best that the scottish brand offer.
Sculpted from a single piece of foam with gel inserts added for riding comfort, the Psychotropical shorts have all the small details covered. A fast -wicking super soft microfibre face fabric has a permanent antibacterial finish to keep the shorts lasting longer. A TRS perforated foam dermis layer is then positioned under the face to help with wicking and improving blood flow on longer rides.

Socks:
We’ve been a fan of the Endura socks for a number of years. High quality, durable and great out on the bike, we’d recommend giving them a try. The Psychotropical socks certainly make a statement and you’re sure to turn a few heads. It’s not just about good looks though, these socks use highly functional fabrics to ensure your feet avoid getting too hot and sweaty, ensuring enjoyable days of biking aren’t spoiled by sore feet.
Cap:
Matching the rest of the kit, the cap completes the look. 3-panel lightweight construction keeps the cap high quality and close fitting. The materials give the psychotropical cap a durable finish. The cycling cap is one size fits all. So you don’t have to worry about which will fit you!

Verdict:
Unsurprisingly Endura have raised the bar yet again with the 2019 Psychotropical range. Not the cheapest kit on the market, but absolutely up there with the best. High quality, sleek aesthetics and something for everyone. We’d recommend getting your hands on some of this kit while stocks last. It’s sure to last a lot longer than the stock does!
