The Process 134 comes with a lot of the features available in the 153, although on a budget. And as you’d expect, this makes the bike look like it’s on a diet too. In a playful green/blue colour scheme as we’d expect from the ever pleasing Kona colour palette, the bike definitely looks the part.

The Process 134 29er is a super versatile bike for a great price. Kona have made sure they put the money where it matters with this build to ensure every ride is as good as it gets. Though we can’t say we’re hugely surprised with the bikes Kona have made in recent years. Right through the range they’ve been high quality.

Features:

A SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain makes quick work of climbs while a RockShox Recon RL fork and a RockShox Deluxe Select rear shock smooth out all the bumps. All-new WTB ST i30 TCS rims are strong and light which helps keep the big wheels turning quickly.

The frame is made of Kona 6061 Aluminum Butted similar to previous editions of the bike. And this is kept rolling smoothly over the terrain by  WTB ST i30 TCS 29” wheels. Maxis Minion DHF tyres complete that set up to make sure that the bike is ready for any terrain you throw it at.

The front/rear suspension comes with 140mm/134mm of travel. Delivered smoothly by a RockShox Deluxe Select rear shock and a RockShox Recon RL Motion Control Solo Air front.

The Kona Process 134 comes with a SRAM SX Eagle DUB 12spd crank set and drive train. This lets you unlock any terrain and you won’t be caught short on gears or left wanting. Shimano Hydraulic brakes with 180mm front/160mm rear rotors make sure you’re as agile as possible into the corners and mean you can really hammer down the trail with comfort.

A Trans-X Dropper Internal 31.6mm gives you all the comfort and flexibility you’ll need to find a comfortable position. With Konas own Kona Trail saddle sat at the top to make sure hours in the chair don’t become a sore affair.

The Verdict:

The Kona Process 134 29er is a super versatile bike for a great price. Kona have made sure they put the money where it matters with this build to ensure every ride is as good as it gets. We’ve been big fans of the majority of bikes to come out of the Kona factory and we have to say this is no exception!
