The Stumpjumper name has been in the Specialized range for over 20 years, 2017 waves goodbye to the Stumpjumper hardtail as it is renamed “Epic HT”, Epic, was infact a lugged carbon road bike many years ago but that’s a different story….
We are lucky enough to have a pair of Stumpjumpers, both aluminium, both hardtails and both with the legendary SIDĀ forks from Rockshoxs.
Wheels have gone a little bigger, carbon fibre with no braking surface also gone are inner tubes.

No need for riser bars with wheels this big, travel remains the same.
Triple chainset, V brakes (although the fork is disc compatible), 26″ wheels, no carbon still looks great.
